ultimately the list price of a home is determined by the seller-- if they don't want to lower the price, it could potentially sit on the market forever without being reduced or selling. An agent can suggest lowering the price to get it sold, and buyers can make lower offers and make it obvious that a price is too high, but if the seller doesn't want to go lower, they don't have to.




I have been looking at this house for over a year, and the sale price has not changed. Why is that?
