No, it won't change you Zestimate as far as I know unless Zillow knows about it from you or your assessor assesses your house extra for it. If Zillow is missing facts about your home, you can claim your house and edit the facts. Zillow has a video on how to do it here. You might also want to consider doing an owner's estimate here to include your other updates. That is the best way to make sure that all of your updates are included and that your Zestimate is as good as it can be within the constraints of the tool itself. Hope the links help.

So putting granite ($5k/6K) wouldn't change zestimate as its not core/structural change?

Hi cmusselman -

I checked your account and found that you have not claimed the home yet. You have the option to claim the home so you can edit the home info. To claim the home, search for it here and go to its Overview page. Click on Claim your home link under Tools. In case you were not able to find the link, please provide the complete address and I'll further check.

Changing the home's core facts such as the number of beds, baths, total square footage, lot size will impact the Zestimate. However, you won't see the change immediately. We update the Zestimate three times a week.

I would also suggest that you update the home info from the public county. Once it has been updated from there, it will be collected, aggregated, and sent to us by data providers who regularly update their information. We will then import the new data for display on our site. Please note that it will only reflect once this data acquisition process has finished.

Thank you.
