I have never SIGNED up for Zillow and my property description is WRONG: We are NO longer in Short

Sale status.  How do I correct this problem ....that may be depressing my neighborhood sales unnecessarily?

The information available came from public records. Wetdawgs is correct that you can claim your home and edit the home facts. To claim it, you just need to go to the home details page and hover over the "Edit" option and click on "Claim your home". Once done, you can make the changes by hovering again to the "Edit" option and click on "Edit home facts".

Please don't worry, Zillow can't depress anything. This is one website. Your home has a tax number that is public record, as is the sales history, listing history in the MLS, foreclosure notices if any, etc. You can't erase your history. But your history has no effect on your home's value or your neighborhood's values. The main thing that affects values are the sale prices of homes that sold. Then we look at condition, location, etc. We don't care about it's history.

You can claim your home and edit the data to reflect errors as well as edit the description.   The verbal description is not part of the Zestimate model - congratulations on getting out of short sale status.
