Zillow uses the purchase price and the tax assessment and many other facts to calculate home value, Zillow had no information on your recently purchase yet, and your home's Zestimate is going up in no time after Zillow had the sale infomation from your county's record.

Sales appear on Zillow after recording in the county records and then transfer by data providers to Zillow. Sometimes I've seen this happen in as little as 10 business days, and sometimes it takes two or three months.
The sales price you paid will reflect in the Zestimate.
I hope you are enjoying your new home, and there is an end in site of the moving boxes.

I just purchased 8107 S Mountain Air Lane Gold Canyon AZ
This was a short sale and it took from Sept to Feb to finally close.
10782 E Tradition Court, Gold Canyon 85118 sold in Jan 2012 and has a zillow estimate of $192,900. My home is the same model with an extra HOBBY room and has a zillow estimate of only $152,800. This can't be accurate.
