Hello cmoo-

I work on email here at Zillow and would like to help you if I can.  The previous answer is correct for emails sent for things you have signed up for.  We also do send some confirmation emails when you do something on the site like post a home for sale or similar.  If you could send me the email(s) that are in question, I can look into this for you.  It could be a mechanical issue and you might not be the only one.

Thank you-

If you log in and go to your profile by clicking on your name, you can change your email preferences to decide what type of emails you get from Zillow from price changes on your house to other alert emails. It should be in the left hand column under account preferences. That should fix the problem. If you are getting emails that seem shady or ask for information, they may not be legitimate and may from scammers. Do not reply to these and alert Zillow if you think this is the type of phishing email that you are getting. Zillow does not sent those, but scammers do.
