Hello,
I work with a lot of people for years. I hear your frustration and hear this a lot. I believe I could give you some good direction and help you. I have a network of people who would be happy to help as well. I am a Citrus County agent.
Please be careful with the advice you get and some things suggested could actually hurt your credit even more.

I would check with your real estate professional. They should know a lender that will help you. In order to get your business later. One of my clients just bought a home and they had filed for bankruptcy less than 2 years earlier.

I suggest contacting a lender that can help with credit repair and disputes, in the event that some stuff on the credit is not yours. I have had many clients work on credit over period of months or even a year or two and are able to buy with no issues after the credit has improved.

The lender that was telling you what he had done. What were you doing? All the credit enhancement programs suggest what should be done. You are the one that has to do those things.
Happy funding, Rudi

Thank you. I worked with a lender last year who promised the world to me and nothing happened. Luckily we did not end up paying him because he never did anything other than send me emails telling me what he was doing. I will have to call around and see what i can find. Any suggestions for my area. Central Florida??

Check in your area for a Real Estate agent that might be able to refer you to a good, qualified lender that does credit repair. I work with lenders that are good and do not charge for this service (beware of some of the ones that do charge). They do it for free because they hopefully get the benefit of your loan.
I need advice on how to clean up credit to start home buying process?
