I used Deco Electric when we finished a large chunk of our basement a couple years ago. Their rates were reasonable, and we were very pleased with their work. (So was the L&I inspector: it passed on the first inspection.) I think they're based in Bellevue, but I'm sure they work in Seattle. The phone # is (425) 644-8908. Good luck!

We are currently doing a basement remodel and will engage the same electrician we used previously. Our house is in Magnolia and over 70 years old. One of the main goals since we started the remodel is to update old wiring, add additional lines and get rid of electrical components which would not meet code anymore. The next big step is replacing the main panel with a larger one. They are very familiar with the local Seattle code.
