This rent estimate can certainly be a killer to us landlords and property managers trying to rent units out when a prospective tenant says, "Well I saw on Zillow that this home rents for $300.00 less than what you are asking."
Remember, this number is purely an estimate, when you click on the property, it should give you a range of what the rental amount falls in, typically, the actual rental price will fall into this.
Take Zillow for what it is, a mere tool to help everyone out, professionals and consumers alike; unfortunately some people have a better understanding the story Zillow is trying to tell.

I notice some rental ads have a zestimate and others dont....why? Not a fair comparison if not all.
