Thanks you for the quick response.  It did say in the description that it was an REO  property.  I was able to claim and edit the description and stated it was no longer an REO property.  Immediately after this the value dropped like a rock.  It fell $44,000 in 30 days while every single property around us rose in value during the same period.

Is it showing for sale on Zillow as a REO property or is this in the home description?   If in the description, now that you've claimed your home you can edit the words.   Change them to whatever you want, just don't leave it blank or it won't save.
