I receive ssi and ssdi. I have a housing voucher for $1100.i want 2 buy house ? on gov grant get gos

I'm 31 years old and i'd be a 1st time buyer. are their any programs thru- hud, or any other government grants that can tie in my $1100. a month payment from my housing voucher and use that as guaranteed monthly towards paying the mortgage. If so, being disabled, and being on ssi. and ssdi, would their be available a low fixed rate "or grant" if u will. If so what would might it be and what should i ask for, and
how do i go about finding the right person that could help me get answers in this situation where i could find positive results; and the right help

The issue is going to be the down payment and the ssi.  If you have sufficient assets for the down-payment, it will likely disqualify you from the SSI, and without the SSI, you likely will not have sufficient funds for the monthly payments.

Anyway, the right thing to do is sit down with people at the local city housing office and go over your situation in detail with them.

Your SSDI and Section 8 Housing voucher are considered income and can be used to help qualify for a mortgage. I can help you can find a mortgage broker who can help you determine whether or not you can qualify for a mortgage - and if so, how much you can qualify for based on your income, debt and credit history.

You should probably sit with a mortgage professional to go over your credit scores & finances and see which mortgage programs might be available to you. Then you'd have a solid idea of how much home you could afford. Ask friends, family, colleagues or other trusted people in your life for the name of a mortgage professional they have used recently and been happy with. Also do the same with those same people and ask for the name of a buyers agent to assist you in locating properties that might be of interest to you once you know what price range you'll be able to work with.

Hope that helps,
