Yes that would be great if you can set up that automated search for me. I have a condo that I purchased in late 2010, in which the Zestimate now says its 29K higher than my purchase amount. However I also see Zestimates of similar properties that are 80K difference from their Zestimates and their starting (current) sales prices. So, as you said, it would be great to get some real time feedback. How can I help in getting that started?

)They should, but the information on Zestimates is often off by quite a bit. To really understand values in a given area, ask your agent to set up an automatic search for you. Whether it's your house that you want to keep tabs on, or a neighborhood where you want to buy, you can get email alerts whenever a similar property in the neighborhood goes on the market (Active), gets an offer (Contingent; if it's an REO or short sale), goes into escrow (Pending) or finally sells (Sold). You'll also be notified of price changes. It's really a great way to understand real time market values in any market.
I'll be happy to set that up for you if you don't have an agent.
Warm Regards,
Cory

I see many Zestimate values that are much higher than the "sale" price. Shouldn't the be the same?
