Zillow has both agent and FSBO listings. If you want to narrow the search to FSBOs only use the search filter for listing types on the left side of the page of the area that you're searching in. Simply uncheck everything but FSBO by clicking on them.

The agents that are here purchase the right to be seen in zip code areas and then get the leads from people who hit the "contact agent" button. I wish it worked better.

this is a real estate advertising site, both Reatlors and for sale by owner listings are on here. If it is listed by a Realtor, it usually was in the MLS first and then here next becuase they have a feed that sends it from MLS to here. The faces you see on the side aren't necessarily the listing Realtor, but they are a licensed professional that can help you with the whole process from looking to writing an offer and managing terms of contract etc. They should be able to provide you with more detailed search tools than zillow. This is a great starting point for browsing but if you want detailed search -have a buyer's agent do it for you!

I thought this was a for sale by owner site. Why do I contact an agent, then?
