The "Premier Agents' is somewhat deceptive to the consumers. The best, most informed agents are out there working hard and getting the job done and do not need to pay Zillow for a featured spot. Consumers may not realize those who are featured are not necessarily the most qualified agents.

SPSP - feel free to contact me if you need any assistance beyond what you've accomplished here in this thread. There are some components to all this that are missing and might be useful.
I'd be happy to go over them or have a discussion with you if you'd like? You can reach me by clicking on the link next to my photo or call me at 707.646.1876. Thanks.

For what it is worth, you cannot review an agent unless you directly worked with him or her. Zillow does not accept reviews of agents on the "other side" of the transaction.
Why not just sing the praises of YOUR agent........tell her to sign up here, and then leave her a glowing review.
This is a Q&A section - not the review section.

Why would I be "misconstrued"?

Ok so Zillow knows who has made comments on the reviews. I filled out my info as well. Your are misconstrued.
The point is this : ALL opinions should be available to be shown on the REVIEWS That is why they are called" REVIEWS" not just "FAVORABLE REVIEWS".otherwise what is the purpose of having "REVIEWS"?

Maybe you can post a review anonymously on some other sites but You cannot post a Review at Zillow anonymously,,try filling one out
Posting a comment or question here is not posting a Review
An unknown person says is not a Review of any value for a lot of Reasons
The purpose of Reviews is what you said but you don't get there with ...an unknown person said

I notice that all of the reviews were anonymous and the reason we are anonymous is because we are sellers and buyers and the reviews are for the real estate agents who are working with the public. We are not being reviewed for that reason.
The purpose of a review is to inform the public as to our experience with a particular broker and has nothing to do with denigrating them..
If my experience with the broker was unfavorable then that is a valid review.and we , the public deserve to be informed of such. That is the purpose of reviews.

What is the purpose of having reviews if the only ones allowed are favorable? Some say someone is good others may disagree. That is the purpose of having reviews.

IMO - You are denigrating someone who isn't here to defend herself, or present her position. This isn't a courtroom.
if you have a problem with the agent, speak with her Broker or file a complaint.
I think it is inappropriate to openly list her name and your displeasure...........you don't list your name - you are here anonymously. Is that fair?
If you want to praise your agent - go ahead - that's very nice of you. Why not list HER name?
Any problems you had with someone else should be handled elsewhere, imo.

it's not hard for your agent to create a profile here. Encourage them to do so (regardless if they want to be a premier agent or not).
If your agent is not crazy about computers or is hesitant or doesn't like the help on the zillow FAQs..show them this thread and they can click my name and contact me..I'd be happy to help them over the phone to create their profile and tell them my perspective on using zillow. It will take about 15 minutes to create their profile.
as for the agent that you aren't happy with, it's best to leave your comments at that. While we'd all like to warn others to stay away from someone...you put yourself at risk is you comment more on that person. It's not worth the personal risk to you.

I do not feel we are denigrating her I just feel that it would be useful to others to know that she was an uninformed agent.

If your agent wants to be a part of Zillow, she will have to sign up, and create an account and profile all on her own - you can't do it for her.
If she doesn't know about Zillow - you might want to tell her about it!
She could also promote her listings here, as well.
You'd be doing her a favor and expanding her internet presence by letting her know about ths opportunity.
To be listed as a "premier agent" she will have to pay a fee. The person you are referencing paid to be listed on those pages. Your agent can do the same.
If, by chance, your agent already has a profile here, or once she creates one, you can leave her a favorable review..... with 5 stars!
And.........Is it really appropriate, on a public forum, to be denigrating someone with whom you apparently had a bad experience?
