I dont blame you, but you can't remove it. Notice how they didnt ask you to put it on to begin with? They are a for profit Inc, and are trying to establish a value for every property in the US. They are not considered accurate or up to date, and the Guestimate, I mean "Zestimate" is not used by anyone in the RE industry. I would not worry to much that your value is off, as that is normal for Zillow and it is not the real value.

I am sorry to say Margo but Zillow will not be able to remove your house from their website. Everything that they post about it is a matter of public record mostly from the tax appraisal district TAD.
If there are pictures however, you can claim your home and remove those as well as the description.
Don't pay attention to the zestimate. Zillow is not an appraisal site, they use public data to compute it and since TX is a non disclosure state and only loan amounts are public, not the sales price, it skews that zestimate big time so it's useless. As Realtors, we constantly have to educate buyers and sellers about this.

Zillow is basically automatically populated from public records, however you can go in and 'tweak' its value, by going in and claiming it. Then edit your home facts

As an aside, Margo, as a realtor, we will be the ones that generally will bring your buyer and we use the multiple listing service (which we pay for) and are licensed for, to get the most up to date information.
I love Zillow, its a great tool for my buyers to get 'general information' like one of those 'what are your symptoms' medical sites, but I would never heal myself that way, I would use a professional. We are licensed professionals and here to help you.
