I want to know the real estate price of my home in 1991

How do I find out what our home was worth in 1991?

Look up homes in your area sold during that time.  If you are not super savy searching online a real estate agent can help you.  Just be polite and ask nicely.

Hello DonnaRoberts7,

We have lived in Temecula since 1989 - 1991 was during the last real estate bust in this area. If you would like to look at our profile and then contact us I am pretty sure we can come pretty close in determining the value of your property in 1991. It would depend on the area, the type of property etc...I can also provide you with some local appraisers you can contact as well. The title company is where I would start. There is often a prperty history we can pull up on the property address. If the property sold during 1991 the price is sold for will show up on the property profile/ property history report.
Thank you
Good Luck to you!

Are you just curious or do you need it for some legal purpose? If you bought it in 1991 your sales price would likely be the value. You should have a copy of the appraisal as part of your loan/closing documents. County records may show tax assessment that far back on the property.  Classified ads from local newspaper archives would show sales prices of homes in your area. Might find an appraisal company that was in business in 1991 that has sales data in their files. Maybe a Realtor in business in early 90"s  that is a "hoarder" and has sales data that far back.
Or just Google your question.........
