I have access to Credit site, so I don't need the following:
Best way for free credit report?  www.FTC.gov   Federal Trade Commisson, they regulate credit reporting agencies, there is a link on the ftc website taking your tenant/buyer to a FREE credit report, pick one of three agencies, Equifax, Transunion, oops, forget #3... everyone is allowed a free credit report once a year, per credit agency. The tenant/buyer will need to get the report, some questions they will only know, like previous addresses, amounts on credit cards, etc. Get them in your office and have them run their report. Know what credit you are working with before showing homes. Good luck.

The potential tenant can get:
+ free credit report from AnnualCreditReport.com
+ free credit score from CreditSesame.com, CreditKarma.com, or Quizzle.com (I don't recommend freecreditreport.com or creditscore.com because they are really not free).

You can also try services like e-renter.com or experian.com/screening-services/ and have them pay for the service (I haven't tried them yet, but I probably will in the future).

I always have them bring in their own credit reports. I avoid paying for them myself and shred them after they move in.

Or they can get their own credit scores with any of the online sources: freecreditreport.com; creditscore.com
