It depends on what it is that you are asking Zillow to do. They do not act as a Realtor. However, there are many tools on Zillow that can help you to market your home. By setting up a profile you can do a lot, much like agents, such as me&my wife. Although I will say that it is not the only tool I use to market property as there are countless sites and tools out there to do so but one is the MLS service whitch you have to be an agent.

Zillow is an excellent place to start the FSBO process. However, when you utilize the "Claim my home" or "Make me move" feature, we have noted instances where either agents or owners have input incorrect property information such as number of rooms, and in particular, interior square footage and lot size. If you over or under estimate your square footage that will impact the Zestimate, and also the interest and activity you receive from viewers (i.e., we are marketing a home right now that is 2600 square feet. It was previously listed at approximately 1500 square feet because not all the rooms were counted.) This lowered the Zestimate by $280,000. We corrected this information when we listed the property and as a result, we are gettiing more calls and activity on the home.
If you are unsure check your tax records which will usually have this information available. Ultimately, if you don't get the activity you want, finding an experienced professional realtor to assist you may be the best approach.
Good luck and have a happy holiday season!
Best regards,
Bonnie&David
