Sing with me "All I want for Christmas is my two Houses, My two Houses, see my two Houses.
Gee, if I could only have my two little Houses,
Then I could wish you "Merry Christmas."

From your statements you need to find an attorney. Contact your local Bar Association or Legal Aid for a free consultation. They may direct you to an Attorney that will take your case without any out of pocket expense for you. .... Best wishes!

and who has pmi on their fha after 3 or 5 years of having a loan.
no one; FHA loans don't have PMI. They do however have MMI and unless it's a 15 year loan they will have it a minimum of 5 years and usually longer until the loan reaches 78LTV. If the loan predates 2002 the MMI will be for the life of the loan.

I have been unable to find an attorney in Allegheny County. I will supply a bit of background info. I have had problems with my ears necessitating tubes my whole life. When I purchased my homes,I took a 15 year mortgage and I had 15 years remaining at my job to acquire full pension (25 years / full pension). I was stricken with mineres syndrome and lost my job. I used my pension to make mortgage payments and my family helped as well. My credit was ruined. I was told that mineres did not qualify for SSD and have been in and out of jobs since.
I managed to hold my last position for 6 years until I experienced memory problems due to menopause, and lost 3 family members in a 7 month time period (one of which was a sister), I went out on depression, eventually lost my job. While out on depression, my companies disability provider was slow to pay, and I fell behind paying my mortgage. I tried to refinance and was turned down. I thought it was due to my credit, however, unable to refinance I filed bankruptcy where my attorney informed me that I had an outstanding judgement of $55,000 on my credit report. PNC failed to remove this debt from my credit report when they sold my mortgage to Washington Mutual. When I lost my job, and unemployment ran out, my bankruptcy case was dismissed. My attorney said I could not reopen my case with unemployment as income when the first emergency unemployment was put in place. Additionally, I had squatters in my rental unit and after evicting them I was faced with hefty repairs, and all but remodeled my kitchen.
There was no place to find reliable information and most of the programs available today were not in place for those of us in the first wave of the jobless / forclosure crisis.
As far as PMI goes, I was unaware I could have dropped it after 3 to 5 years. Additionally, Wells Fargo purchased my homes when I had 1 year remaining just as I was filing bankruptcy. They also took a second insurance policy out.
Why does a bank buy a delinquent mortgage with one year remaining then refuse to modify the loan? One answer. Equity!!!

This makes no sense...you were 12 months away from paying off your mortgages and you defaulted and had the house(s) foreclosed on?
The foreclosure could not have been a suprise to you? You needed to speak with an attorney before the foreclosure not more than a year after!

this is a matter for a real estate lawyer.
I was denied loss mitigation on an fha loan with pmi. I had 1 year left on a 15 year mortgage.
They would not return my calls. I lost two pensions and family money and inheritances. I have 2 houses on one lot. I rent the second one out. I want my homes back. They were my investment for my future and my daughters future as well. I was remodling my rental home unaware they foreclosed. I didn't even own it any more!
The new programs were not in place as I was one of the Oct.2008 foreclosures.
