I was wondering if I could use my section 8 for a rent to own or just a rental???

Rent-to-own is owner financing, more or less--if the seller/landlord of a property were to accept a contract to purchase from a tenant receiving Section 8 subsidies it would most likely void the agreement they have with HUD.

Also, most rent-to-own properties have a down payment requirement--if someone is receiving rental assistance for housing, how would they be able to come up with this?
