I would like to develop a web based real estate trading game.

Can I display search results for a city on my site without entering a specific address?

The question was about getting listings for a city/zip instead of using an address to get the details of the specific property.

What you mentioned only shows average for a zip code or region and may not be what the question was for?

Checked your 2007 blog post. Interesting.

This concept will work as long as Zestimate is accurate, updated periodically [weekly/monthly] and made available via the API.

This may also violate Zillow terms since this involves storing past Zestimates of the properties bought, in a local database!

Yes - use the region calls. GetDemographics and GetRegionChart.

Not sure if you saw this post I wrote many years ago? Also take a look at Realius.
