If, when your loan was originated it was at or less than 80% loan to value, at that time, and, therefore, no mortgage insurance was underwritten on the subject loan, then in such a case no mortgage insurance will be required.
The HARP 2.0 rates are competitive with the current 30 year fixed conforming rates.
There are very few lenders that have actually implemented HARP 2.0 thus far, and we don't expect to see immediate adoption by many of the Lenders because of the technology, staffing and liquidity implications. However, we at EME Funding have an ongoing working relationship with Lenders that have and are currently accepting loan files for the HARP 2.0. You'll be in the high 3s to low 4s depending on your credit & how much you are willing to pay in closing costs.

The interest rate available will depend on your credit score as well as your loan amount to property value. The interest rate for Freddie Mac HARP loans start in the high 3's.
