Use the "report a problem" button under the "edit" pull down tab under the main photo on the home details page to have Zillow have the data provider company for the area check the numbers again.

Zillow pays a fortune to individual independent data collection companies to collect the information from the county records and put them in electronic format.

If your square footage is that much larger than indicated, perhaps you have not been paying enough property tax?  Check with the county and make sure they have the right numbers and have assessed your property correctly and that you are paying enough tax.

Also remember, that number is "livable space", not just enclosed floor space nor even space with roof over it (like basements and porches...).  You need heating and ceilings at least 7'6" to be livable.  (The garage also does not count, even if attached).

Zillow also gets data from agents and owners.  You can claim your property and edit the square footage yourself.
