IS WAL-MART MOVING-IN NEXT TO THE HIGHLANDS RANCH GOLF CLUB?

The Highlands Ranch Golf Course Community Association has been informed that Arapahoe Acres Nursery ownership (just north of Santa Fe and Town Center Drive) is in negotiations with Wal-Mart, Lowes and Costco for that parcel of land.

A group of residents have arranged a meeting with the Arapahoe Acres owners and the real estate developer in charge to discuss the possible development.

There is a meeting on Thursday, November 17 at Westridge Rec Center from 6.30 - 9.30pm to discuss this very important issue and what the potential impact will be.

Well, I didn't make the meeting...  I was hoping to speak in favor of having a Walmart, Costco, and Lowes all next door to the golf course...

So, how did the meeting go, and what was decided?  Are you going to take action as an HOA, or are you just going to wait and see what happens?

Why don't you just buy the Nursery yourself and then the whole issue disappears.
