Last week Tuesday there was $600 million left. Some lenders have already stopped offering this program so you may have to make some calls.

There is plenty of USDA funds available, in fact enough to last through the year. There was a bill introduced that allowed another injection to become available. If you need a referral to a lender that has the details feel free to contact me.

It's always best to go directly to the source for this type of information. Call your local USDA office and ask them. They may refer you back to your lender, but a definitive answer will be found somewhere between the two of them and will remove any doubt that you have, and it will give you the direction you need to go to secure the USDA funds, if they are available.

Hi MasterSolo3,
The USDA funding is depleting. The best person to talk to about those details is your loan officer. Make sure you get a commitment from the USDA as soon as you can and not just a pre approval letter from the lender. Also, make sure you know what areas you are restricted to shop in. Thanks and I wish you all the best in your home search! What a great time to buy! :)
