No - if you're presently in a Fannie Mae mortgage, you may be able to refinance after meeting certain qualifications - talk to a mortgage broker for specifics and you can go to www.financialstability.com is the official government web-site that will guide you through answers, and supply numbers directly for Fannie Mae for questions.
