Hi, Kenny H -
The property you posed the question about is now pending under contract. However, your question is still a valid question about the community and area for investment real estate.
The answer to your question is a qualified "perhaps". Not knowing your financial details and your goals makes this a maybe.
Some investors look for long-term payback (upon sale), some look for cashflow with a long-term payback upon sale, & others use the term investment to have that second place to stay in the greater Orlando area because they reside elsewhere in the country for most of the year.
If this is your first venture into purchasing rentable real estate, be sure to have some reasonable expectations as to occupancy and rents. If you are relying on the rent to pay any mortgage, you are not making the right investment for the very first time out (unless you have great reserves).
I hope this shed some light on your question as it can be a much deeper conversation with a real estate professional and property manager.
