Price is just one aspect of a deal. Terms are another, if you get my drift.

Nobody can force you to sell your property however, you may be liable for your listing agents commission as well as possible damages to your buyer(s) and buyer's agent. Please thoroughly review your purchase agreement between you and the buyer as well as your listing agreement with your listing agent.
I would also suggest obtaining legal advice to ensure you understand your responsibilities in both agreements.
I hope this helps you.

Dear Poodle,
No you cannot be forced to sell your property but you might be required to pay the commission to the agents..nevertheless. That is normally a part of the listing agreement.

No, you don't have to sell but if you don't accept the offer you may (i.e check your contract) be responsible for the full commission to the listing agent and the end of their services.
Why don't you want to sell at list price?

Check your listing contract. It probably states that if a realtor brings you a full price offer, the realtor is entitled to his full commission. So no, you don't have to sell, but you do have to pay the realtor his/her full commission.
But, if you received a full price offer and signed and accepted the offer, the potential buyer may try to force the sale, or seek damages.
In either case, you may want to consult an attorney.

If I have listed my home with a realtor & receive an offer for my asking price do I have to sell?
