The best advice I would give.

1. Ask a friend or somebody you trust
2. Look on Zillow to review a few agents
3. Do not contact the listing agent.... They work for the seller and you need somebody working for you.
4. Don't be afraid to call a few to make sure that you find somebody that you like. The process of buying a house takes some time, so why not work with somebody you like.

 Enjoy the new journey

Search for any agent except the listing agent. You don't want to deal directly with the agent who listed the house. That agent is already representing the seller. The advice offered already on how to find an agent of your own is good. But keep that point in mind: You need your own agent.

Hope that helps.

Click on Professionals up on the Zillow Menu, enter the city or zip code and Zillow will give you the agents in that area that subscribe to Zillow.  Find one you like, call them and ask them to work with you and see how it goes.  That will be a good indicator of how willing they are to work with you.  Good Luck

Choose an agent that you like and trust and use him/her for all of your real estate requests. Remember that the listing agent will always be the advocate for the Seller. You need an agent who can be YOUR  (the Buyer) advocate, a Buyer's agent. This agent can find out information on any home you may be interested in.

The listing agent information should be on the house listing, although if the agent is not a Premier Agent sometimes it is difficult to find.

If you are interested to know about a house, feel free to contact us directly and we can verify the information is correct directly in the MLS (where Zillow information pulls from)

If you don't want to drive by to see the sign I'd look up the address online, like in google, and you'd probably find multiple websites listing it and you'll be able to catch who it's being sold by in there.

If a house is listed for sale on Zillow (with a red icon on the map and a "for sale" on the property details page), you can find the listing person by scrolling to the bottom of the property details page.

If there is a grey icon, it isn't listed for sale on Zillow, only showing a Zestimate.
