Bank of America has taken big steps to shorten response times and improve overall communication. It is imperitive to make sure you are using and agent that is familure with the short sale process and furthermore bank of americas new system equator. Keeping intouch with the bank and following up to make sure all steps have been completed is essential in lowering the time of a response.
To answer your question I would say that on average it take about 1.5 months to hear a responce if you are in the company of a good agent and attorney.

BOA has improved drastically. My most recent BOA transactions have only taken a couple months. It is important that the Seller submit all requested documents promptly when requested.

If you've dealt with BofA recently for a short sale, how long did it take to get a response...?
We have a lawyer and also spoke to of course the realtors and they said it will take just a couple of months.
But I read horror stories online about a lengthy wait!! I am confused on what to expect
