Yes you can. I would advise contacting a real estate company who specializes in rental transactions, or contact a reliable property management company.

Each owner varies on the criteria they look for when accepting or declining a tenant. Some owners don't harp on bad credit scores, instead they look at the payment history on the credit report. If the payment history is good, and one just had some bad luck, then an owner is usually willing to work with that person. Of course, it all depends on how the rest of the background check, checks out!

You are going to have to fork up some more money to landlord. By giving several months rent ahead of time, keeping it up, and always paying the first of month. Of course, make sure you have all rental receipts of paid months, to cover your butt as proof.
