Income to consider in the modification.

My daughter and myself are on the home loan.  I have lived in this house for 27 years.  My daughter had to leave to find work in another state, and basically cannot contribute any funds towards the mortgage.  Would my income be the income to consider the monthly payments?

Tales like this make me so sad.  You should be at the stage where you were looking forward to paying it off in 2 or 3 years. 

As your daughter is on the loan, the lender will not ignore her for consideration of a modification.
