Incorrect Zestimate

How do I trigger a Zestimate review?  For address 11309 William Plaza in Omaha, Nebraska, Zillow ID, 2119065932, Zestimate recently dropped from more than $500,000 (which is about what paid at time of purchase, and the accessed tax value), to $247,000.  I believe Zillow algorithms are erroneously combining the small gated community, Tomlinson Woods, with neighboring neighborhoods which are not as nice. Clearly, this incorrect Zestimate could negatively impact the ability to sell at a fair price, so it is of the upmost importance to have this issue corrected.  Thank you.

Mary, zillow pulls from county records.  It's not always correct.  If you need accurate numbers I will run comparable numbers for you.

I did just notice that in the Facts section for the house no longer has entries for Legal Description or Parcel #.  I believe that when the agent listed the house, they were not included and therefore are no longer used in calculating the Zestimate, which is what would point Zillow to the know the previous sale value, Tax assessed value, and neighborhood.  Previously, Zillow showed those numbers and then when the house went up for sale, they disappeared and the Zestimate dropped.  The agent is going to update the listing to include the parcel # and legal description and we will see if that corrects this issue.  Thank you for your help wetdawgs!

Here's a link to Zillow's customer service E-mail.   Zillow doesn't adjust Zestimates manually.

The property information was put into the system  recently manually probably by the agent (one can tell by the short history of the Zestimate and the zpid code, no tax history and no sales history).  When first entered in the system, the Zestimate does tend to swing up and down with huge swings

I have already read both of those articles, and don't believe they apply in this case.  This is my Aunt and Uncle's house, and they are wondering what can be done to correct this error.  We understand they can put in an owner and agent estimate, but clearly people are going to think that a Zestimate is an objective and accurate measure with which to initially compare houses, and in this case it is not.  All the other home Zestimates in Omaha didn't just drop by half in the last week.  This is clearly an algorithm problem that has the potential to cost real people real money.  And how on earth to you contact a real person from Zillow anyway?

Have you had the opportunity to read "What is a Zestimate?" as well as Data Coverage and Zestimate Accuracy?     The two may put your Zestimate in perspective, as well as give you some suggestions on things your (or your agent) can do (such as add lot size to the home data).  The option is also there to provide your (you or your agent's) opinion of value on the home details page just below the Zestimate table along with the justification.
