Joe Stone - Realtor®
I agree with Bruce Lynn and WetDawgs, it is best to get your own agent.
The reason is that the listing agent is contractually obligated to be the fiduciary to the seller. Think of the relationship of a lawyer to their client; the lawyer is required to lookout for his client's best interest.
So if the seller's Realtor is looking out for the seller's interest who is looking out for your interests? If you choose to allow the listing agent to assist you, then the answer is most likely no one. Go find yourself an agent that will be on your side!
