Is it possible for a couple 65 and 70 yrs old to get a 30 yr mortgage?

How do we get the lowest possible monthly amount?

Yes it is. You can't be discriminated against because of your age. You would get the lowest possible payment by having 20% equity and by shopping for the loan with the lowest rate.

Are you looking to buy a house or refi one you already own?

Thank you, that is very reassuring. We are are looking to move closer to children several states away and it is good to know we can get a lower monthly priced loan. We have excellent credit.

Lenders are prohibited from age discrimination. So an older client can obtain a 30 year mortgage
