If you are looking to purchase a Foreclosure being marketing on Zillow... It will be a situation where it will be coming to the steps soon...  You will want to access a title search for any home you find... You can do this by paying online company or having a title company run search for you...

It depends on what you mean by foreclosure.   We use the word liberally around here.

If you are talking about buying on the courthouse steps, then you would want a title company to do a complete search of the title and the owner to make sure there are no liens you can't clear before buying.

If you are talking about REOs, then liens will be cleared before you purchase through normal channels.

Feel free to give me a call if you want to discuss.
