For the average homeowner? Yes! For the company that specializes in mold removal? No!Mold can be a serious issue so I would recommend having a company that specializes in mold removal handle the problem. They have special chemicals, etc... that will remove all signs of mold and prevent mold from returning. If you're buying a home with evidence of mold be careful that a company that specializes in removal fixed the problem. If you are a seller and your home has mold make sure you check references, etc... of any companies.Best of luck!
It will depend on the type of mold, I recommend that you try to idnetify the type of mold you have in the home, it could be a simple fix or require professionals. there are several articles on line for you to view. best of luck.
