Is there a Home Path product for over $417k?

I have noticed houses listed on homepath in the $500-$600k range and they list that they are homepath eligible with 3% down. I have not been able to find any lenders that have a product over the $417 conforming limit. Does anyone know of any?

Did you find the the information you needed?   I would be happy to assist you with finding the lender to assist you in your transaction. Have you identified a property you wish to purchase?  I am a Alpharetta/Johns Creek resident & GA native.  I am also a previous mortgage lender and quite familiar w/ these products and more that your inquiring about.

Feel free to contact me via my profile or my website.

Thanks,

There is only 1 County in Georgia where you can use a High Balance Conforming Homepath loan, up to $515,200, and that is Greene County. The down payment would be 10%.  If you are looking in Alpharetta or any County other than Greene you are capped at $417K. You could use a Homepath loan on a $500K purchase with $83K down payment to avoid MI and no appraisal but you would get better pricing using a non Homepath loan and buying the MI out with a lender credit, appraisal would apply.
The other option to keep the down payment low on a $500K purchase is to use an 80/15/5 structure.
