I second the bid for Grateful Bread...a great place to sit down and grab coffee and lunch! For those that like a more "consistent" experience, there's the Starbucks on 35th NE just south of NE 75th as well. Lots of great spots to eat and hangout in Ravenna's shopping district, an easier walk from the house, on NE 65th between 22nd and 24th.

Yes...Zoka DOES have great coffee. But it seems like everytime I go there, the place is completely full of students on their laptops. So I just grab it to go and drool over the Fortuny lights at Blakely Home Store nearby. I agree with Kacker...Sunflour is great for coffee to go, or a great breakfast on the weekend.

Actually my favorite coffee hang out place is Zoka which is a bit south on NE Blakely and 25th NE. Best coffee. (period) + free wi-fi.

Yes, lots. My favorite is Sunflour on the corner of NE 65th & 32nd Ave NE. But many other people also like Top Pot Donuts & Grateful Bread on NE 70th & 35th Ave NE. Happy caffeinating.
