Is there a good place to determine if homes have solar (e.g., is it in home facts)?

I put 45 solar panels on my house in January but the Google maps still have an early 2008 view and so they do not show up in the satellite view. Unfortunately Zillow does not have a separate category for this.

My system will be generating free electricity powering my entire home for at least 40 years and yet there is no economic value attached to this by zillow (at least for the time being).

Another way is to use the Google "street view" or satellite image viewing tools.  Solar panels typically show up as dark blue or black rectangles when viewed from above.

You may want to speak with a local agent.  In Northern Virginia I can set up a search for you that locates homes for sale using solar energy.

We do not offer a "solar selection" among approximately 40 facts that a homeowner can check off, but we do have a field where you can manually type in the fact that a home has solar. So, if you're looking for a  home that might have solar panels, it would  be entered in the home's description.
