Is there a list of portfolio lenders?

I am having hard times getting my condo refinanced in VA due to high investor ratio. Would a portfolio lender able to do it? Can you suggest some names please..

Thanks

A high investor ratio can be a problem. However, some mortgage brokers have access to investors who may take the risk with this type of loan. I have one broker in mind.

One thing I always suggest is to ask your neighbors in your condo complex where they have their loans.  Those lenders (if they are still in business) have already done loans in the complex and might do another one?  Good luck.

Have you tried RBC Bank ( in Richmond )?  I believe they have 2 divisions, Mortgage and Equity Div and the Equity Div will do both Condo and Investment, just dont know their condo guidelines.

Just find a good mortgage broker. One of the benefits of using a broker is that they have many investors and can most likely find someone to place your loan with.

This is gonna be a bit difficult for you.  I would try compass bank.  They are the outside the box thinker.  Is this a VA loan you are refinancing?  Any approved VA lender will be able to do an IRRL.
