I agree re the mkt analysis.  but what caused my propertyvaluation to go down  over 10% in the past few months when no neighboring properties did.

You should contact a local real estate agent to perform a market analysis for the neighborhood you are interested in. Some valuation changes do not correctly reflect the market value. All information for the home, such as the number of bedrooms, baths, basement details ( finished or unfinished ) are not known. A market analysis would give you a better comparison and accurate valuation.
