Assuming that you are going for a better deal, more often then not you will end up with the same rate and fees at the closing table with the new lender.If you know for a fact you are getting scortched with the current loan in process and your loan originator has not been receptive to lowering the revenue bar, sometimes it makes more sense in the longish run to even leave a $500 application or appraisal fee behind.
