You are buying a multi-unit located in NYC, or, are you located in NYC and buying in Oklahoma? This questions was posted in the Oklahoma forum, so I am just verifying. If you are buying in Oklahoma, then I can help you. I have listed, sold and/or helped purchase, in excess of 15 this year alone.
Best of luck! Chris Eubanks with the UB Home Team!

Do NOT believe any agent who tells you they are a shortsale specialist. Make them show you how many shortsales they have CLOSED with buyers, and the time is took to close them.
However, the buyer's agent does little in a shortsale other than keep the seller's agent (who does most of the work and keeps things moving).

My friend and colleague: Karl Mengers of Keller Williams. He is a certified distressed property expert and has represented many banks, homeowners and buyers in distressed or bank owned property transactions.

Is there anyone on here who is specialized in short sale or foreclosure?
