Your tomato sound yummy! Makes me want a salad or a nice sandwich with a fresh tomato. I always felt like I had a black thumb, but I think I may be getting the hang of it. The tomatoes are a bit late this year, but are just turning red now. I think my favorite new garden item was a few carrots I grew from seed just to see. They were terrific and super easy to grow. Sweeter and more flavorful than the ones even at the farmers market. It is great growing some of your own veggies. My kids really like to watch them grow so they can eat them too.
