I am trying to look for a house in Torrance, CA but the asking money reserve is $20,000 (down). How can I buy a house if I have nothing left for me to purchase furnitures for the house? I am a first time home buyer.

There is one program that is 0% down payment but you have to qualify as a VA loan there other way is to FHA the minimum down payment is 3.5% and the is excellent for first time home buyers and the other way is that sometimes you can ask the city to help with the the downpayment there are some restirctions in this program but if you are planning in living in your property for more then 10 yrs is good
