Is this house in foreclosure? or can a short sale be offered?

The home is not in foreclosure.  There is no record of a default noticed being filed.  The builder may consider selling it as a short sale but since he doesn't appear to be behind on his payments, the bank may turn down the short sale request.Your best bet is to make an offer and see if the bank will consider it.  There may very well be circumstances we are not aware of.  My office is a couple blocks from the home, I'll be happy to assist.Naima
