Zillow is like that Crazy Preacher on the Corner. If you want real answers you don't go to him for them. You go to a church and find a professional.
Same basic concept. The guy on the corner may be right sometimes, but you know the guy at the church has education and training, and is licensed to give you advice.

Answer to the first part of your question: no.
However. We know that homeowners hit Zillow like, twice a day (HITS=8 zillion!), so we want to know what our sellers are seeing.

1. CLAIM your home. You can self-edit the information.
2. NO! we don't use Zillow for values. We use the MLS / Multiple Listing Service and Tax Records/Sales Data. Zillow is NOT accurate.
3. Contact a LOCAL Realtor in Aiken Sc is you want a FREE Market Analysis of your home.

No, we would use our local Multiple Listing Service to conduct Comparitive Market Analysis.
To answer the title question, no never. The value of a home is not always accurate on zillow

I think the fact that your own home has an incorrect description shows the problem of accuracy on Zillow.
This is an example of why Zillow is regarded by some as a website to advertise on more than a source of reliable information.
