It seems my house is being compared to apartments/condo's...

Hello, 50 Bartley St, Wakefield, is a house, and the value seems way off, but I think it's because of what's being compared to. Can you advise how the value's are done? There are 5-6 comparison's and they are not houses.

Make sure you claim the home and update the facts. Perhaps it is in the sytem as a condo or duplex and you can change that.

Hello, Thanks for your reply. If other houses were in the comparison too, I'd feel better about it. I'm actually getting it appraised today because I'm doing a re-fi. Is there a way to post the result?

The Zestimate is a loose idea of what the value of your home is. They do include propeties that do not match as well as one would like or need, but it is an automatic program rather than a person. The best way to get the real market value of your property is to go through a Realtor or an appraiser.  You can often get the Realtor market analysis for free. Just be open and honest and a good Realtor will be happy to help.
