Key Real Estate of WNY Offers New Cell Phone Search Tool For Chautauqua County New York Home Buyers

Key's Mobile Search allows home buyers to use a cell phone for information gathering. Many times buyers see a home for sale as they are conducting other activities. Until now, getting home information would interrupt that activity for a significant amount of time. Now all they need to do is text the address to a specified number from their cell phone. In moments they have the information they need with minimal interruption to their day's routine.

The vast majority of people have text capable cell phones. David Garofalo, at Key Real Estate, points to this saying: "Some 82% of American adults use cell phones. If people can text, they can benefit from this search tool." While texting is at the heart of this unique home finding tool, Garofalo comments: "Absolutely, they can use a mobile browser if they like, and it works great. But the text option is much quicker. And we feel it gives more people in Chautauqua County the opportunity to get home information. Because it works off the text plan, users won't need to have high end phone or additional data plan as with other mobile search options."

Here's how it works: First time users text: KEYRE to: 74362. Once setup, simply find a listed home for sale, text the address to: 74362. They get one text with basic information: price, beds and baths. A second text has options to retrieve: property details, mortgage estimates and more. If the phone supports picture text they can even get pictures. Users interact with the system by replying to the system's texts, usually with a one letter or number reply. Information on any home in Chautauqua County's MLS can be found. The service is free. However, keep in mind that the cell carrier's text rates and rules apply. There are also resources online KeyListingSearch.com.
