Snowbunny - I've done many FHA loans, several incorporating Non-occupying co-buyers......Not a whole lot of difference in general, need to take a full application from the non-occupying applicant, and this applicant takes will be fully responsible for keeping these payments current..
Purchasing condos, with FHA financing, does present additional challenges vs using Conventional financing (which typically don't allow non-occupying co-signors)...
